Elementarium

Privacy policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

This page explains what happens to your data when you play Elementarium at elementarium.fun. The short version: you don’t need an account, the game keeps your progress on your own device, and it doesn’t send that progress to us.

What the game keeps, and where

Your discoveries, achievements, settings and saved worlds are kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device. They are not uploaded, and we can’t see them. Clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes them, and they can’t be recovered unless you have downloaded a backup. See Cookies and storage for the details.

In the game, Info › Your progress can download a backup of all of this as a file, and restore it. The file is made by your browser and saved on your device; it isn’t uploaded, and we never see it.

If you use the Image tool, the picture you choose is read by your browser and built into your world on your device. It is not uploaded.

What we don’t collect

The game has no accounts, no sign-in, no payments and no forms. We don’t ask for your name, your email address or your location.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a small script on our pages, to see how many people visit and how well the site works. It reports things like which page was opened, how fast it loaded, which site sent the visitor, and the visitor’s general region, browser and device type. We see these as totals, not as a record of who you are. Cloudflare says the tool uses no cookies or local storage to collect them and doesn’t fingerprint individuals. It doesn’t read your saved game.

What other services see

Loading any website means your browser talks to the computers that serve it, and they see technical details such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. Two services are involved:

Advertising

The game doesn’t show ads today. We plan to support it with ads in future, for example an ad you can choose to watch for a hint. An advertising partner may use cookies or similar technology to show and measure ads. We’ll update this page before any ads start, name the partner here, and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Children

We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example in a message on our Discord server, contact us and we’ll remove what we control.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you. Because we hold no accounts or player records, there is usually nothing for us to look up: your progress is on your device, and you can delete it yourself. For anything held by Cloudflare or Google, see their policies above.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
